Hospital Among Top Five Percent Nationally for Patient Safety

Rockford Memorial Hospital has been named in an independent national research study as a recipient of the 2007 Distinguished Hospital Award for Patient SafetyTM, according to HealthGrades, the nation’s leading healthcare ratings company.

Rockford Memorial is the only recipient of this HealthGrades award in the Rockford area, and one of only 12 in the state of Illinois. Nationwide, only 242 hospitals out of nearly 5,000 received this recognition.
