Mercyhealth and Wesley Willows are proud to present the Active Aging series of educational topics for your healthy life. Active Aging presentations will be offered the first Thursday of every month. The events, held at 4142 Johns Farm Road in the Town Center of Wesley Willows, are free and the public is welcome to attend.
The series continues on Thursday, November 3 at 4 p.m. with a discussion entitled “Emergency Awareness." Emergencies happen when you least expect it. By being prepared, you can know how to spot an emergency and how to respond. Join Maureen Maxa, RN, MSN, a chest pain coordinator at Mercyhealth, as she explains how to identify when someone is having a heart attack, stroke or other medical emergency, plus she will discuss how you can help before emergency personnel arrives.
