Active Aging Series

Rockford Health System and Wesley Willows are proud to present the Active Aging series of educational topics for your healthy life. Active Aging presentations will be offered the first Thursday of every month. The events, held at 4142 Johns Farm Road in the Town Center of Wesley Willows, are free and the public is welcome to attend.

The series continues on Thursday, August 6, at 4 p.m. with a discussion entitled, "What is Palliative Care? What is Hospice?" People tend to confuse palliative care and hospice care. Whether at home or in assisted living facilities, the ultimate goal for both is to provide excellent patient care and arrange appropriate services for the patients and their families.  Join Mohammed Ahmed Khan, M.D., the director of Palliative Care and Advanced Illness Management Services at Rockford Memorial Hospital, as he discusses both options to help you have the best quality of life.
