Active Aging Series

Rockford Health System and Wesley Willows are proud to present the Active Aging series of educational topics for your healthy life. Active Aging presentations will be offered the first Thursday of every month. The events, held at 4142 Johns Farm Road in the Town Center of Wesley Willows, are free and the public is welcome to attend.

The series continues on November 6 at 4 p.m. with a panel discussion on “Nutrigenomics: Nutrition and Brain." We have always heard you are what you eat. Recent research is showing this is true: foods you eat now can help prevent future disease and can influence your gene function. Join Malgorzata Bach, M.D., a neurologist and the director of the Memory Clinic at Rockford Health System’s Brain and Spine Center, as she discusses what you need to eat now to ensure you have a healthy brain so you can remain active in the coming years.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP to (815) 971-1999.
