Rockford Health System and Wesley Willows are proud to present the Active Aging series of educational topics for your healthy life. Active Aging presentations will be offered the first Thursday of every month. The events, held at 4142 Johns Farm Road in the Town Center of Wesley Willows, are free and the public is welcome to attend.
The series continues on March 5 at 4 p.m. with a discussion on “Robotic Assisted General Surgery." When you need surgery, you want to heal quickly so you can resume your active lifestyle. With the use of robotic-assisted surgery, surgeons operate through a few small incisions. Join Anthony Zappia, M.D., as he discusses using the da Vinci Robotic Surgery System to perform minimally invasive surgeries for procedures such as gallbladder removal, colon surgery and hernia repairs.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP to (815) 971-1999.
