Rockford Health System and Wesley Willows are proud to present the Active Aging series of educational topics for your healthy life. Active Aging presentations will be offered the first Thursday of every month. The events, held at 4142 Johns Farm Road in the Town Center of Wesley Willows, are free and the public is welcome to attend.
The series continues on December 4 at 4 p.m. with a discussion on “Brain Attack: Time is Ticking." When stroke hits, seconds count. The sooner you receive medical care the better your long-term prospects. Join stroke specialists Maureen Cain, A.P.N., and Eileen Davidson, R.N., as they discuss the prevention, recognition, and treatment of stroke. Understanding these three things helps decrease the severity of long-term effects so you can live a healthy, active life.
If you plan to attend, please RSVP to (815) 971-1999.
