Rockford Health System and Wesley Willows are proud to present the Active Aging series of educational topics for your healthy life. Active Aging presentations will be offered the first Thursday of every month. The events, held at 4142 Johns Farm Road in the Town Center of Wesley Willows, are free and the public is welcome to attend.
The series continues on February 5 at 4 p.m. with a discussion on “The Beat Goes On: Atrial Fibrillation, the Most Common Irregular Heart Rhythm." Atrial fibrillation is the most common abnormal heart rhythm, the odds increasing with age. Symptoms include feeling dizzy, out of breath, weak and tired. Or sometimes, there are no symptoms at all. Join cardiologist/ electrophysiologist Jeffrey Smith, M.D. as he discusses what you need to know so you can live a healthy, active life.
