Providing Care on the Area's Only Ronald McDonald Care Mobile

Providing medical and dental care for children who are uninsured is the job of the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile.

In three years, 2,500 children have received nearly $500,000 in free medical and dental care on the pediatric clinic on wheels.

 

 

Medical Diagnostic Clinic

 The Medical Diagnostic Clinic provides a comprehensive examination administered by a development pediatrician and child developmental specialist.  Children, birth to eight years of age, who are experiencing delays in development associated with premature birth, neurological impairments, genetic anomalies, as well as birth trauma and psychological dysfunction, are seen for diagnostic evaluations.

Services may include:

  • Medical, psychological and family/social history review
  • Physical examination
  • Developmental examination
  • Collaboration with pediatrician in ordering of medications, laboratory and/or radiology tests
  • Parent counseling concerning normal and abnormal development and behavior
