Behavioral Medicine
The Behavioral Medicine Department
offers quality mental health care in our
inpatient and outpatient settings.
Our multi-disciplinary team which
includes psychiatrists, case managers,
nurses, counselors, social workers,
recreational therapists and chaplains,
work collaboratively with the patient
and family to offer the most effective
and cost-efficient care.
We offer individualized care in the
least restrictive environment to
patients with schizophrenia, depression,
bipolar, anxiety, and other psychiatric
diagnosis. Our program focuses on
education, symptom management, coping
skills, discharge planning and effective
utilization of community resources.
Families are encouraged to be a part of
the recovery process by attending weekly
family group that provides information
on mental illness, recovery, relapse
prevention, and how to support a loved
one with mental illness.
