Preparing for Childbirth

Rockford Health System offers a class to prepare for both a vaginal or Caesarean birth, as well as for becoming a parent. These small classes are especially recommended for first-time moms-to-be and their support persons.

Classes are held in Classrooms 1 and 2 of the Ingersoll Building, located on the North Rockton Campus [map].

Class Fee: $50

“Preparing for Childbirth” is offered as either a one-day class (on Saturdays) or a three-night class (on Thursday evenings). The one-day class is held on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., on the following dates in 2014:

The three-night class is held on Thursday evenings, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., on the following dates in 2014:
