Safe Sitter Classes

The Safe Sitter program is a nationwide, not-for-profit, medically-oriented instructional program designed to train young persons aged 11 to 13 how to be safe baby sitters. The program teaches baby sitters proper childcare skills and how to handle major and minor medical emergencies.

Class Fee: $60

Location
Classes are held in Ingersoll Building, located on the North Rockton Campus [map].

Safe Sitter is a 14-hour, two-day course. It runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

In 2016, it will be held on the following dates:

  • March 31 & April 1 – Classrooms 1 & 2
  • June 6 & 7 – Classrooms 1 & 2
  • June 20 & 21 – Classrooms 3 & 4
  • July 13 & 14 – Classrooms 1 & 2
  • July 28 & 29 – Classrooms 1 & 2
  • August 5 & 6 – Classrooms 1 & 2
  • December 29 & 30 – Classrooms 1 & 2
